This was the week of our “Filthy Fifth” birthday party concert… The day before I found this AMAZING Union Soldier hat that I went back and fourth deciding if I should wear to a KoRn concert in the deep south…….
The answer was YES…… Yes I was going to wear it….. and no one gave me crap…Actually they said it was awesome!!

Here are some of my favorite radio breaks from last week

Tonight, Blanche and I decided to have a photoshoot… he looked so cute… he was purring…..
So I grabbed my computer and started taking photos…. then….well………you can see…… He hates photos I guess.

This week I was feeling “saucy” on air…… A girl who usually calls-in to our morning show here on Project 961 (The Kidd Chris Show) called me and decided to talk all crazy……. I wasn’t having it…… so I hung up on her…

And then the floodgates opened up. People were pissed, or they agreed with me…. So Kidd Chris decided to take this matter into his own hands!!!!!!

The East End – Will You Please Hold My Hand (When The World Ends) by theeastend

This is an unreleased East End track that no one has really heard…. We had a few I thought didn’t work really well… but after sitting on this for almost a year… i think it’s good enough demo quality to post…

Yeah… it’s absolutely my favorite song I have ever written…and maybe ever will…. I don’t know why… A few years ago I sat there thinking about what it would be like if you were standing on a hill with someone that you loved the most….looked up at the sky and saw a giant fireball coming…. with not enough time to really say anything…what would you do?

That’s what this song is about. It’s not like the other ‘east end’ stuff you may have heard…
It could really be recorded again… but I wouldn’t be able to get Marian, Tyson & Dylan’s voices…so…for now…here it is…

Last night I had an event for The Project…and rather than go out (and risk me getting kicked out of another lesbian bar for laughing at the security girls face…..long story)… we decided to get some food.
Halfway through the meal our server comes up to us and say “are you who I think you are?”
My response was “dammit! how did you know I was president obama?”
He laughed and we took a picture… He totally made my night, it was so cool to meet him… It’s always amazing when that happens cos all I am is some DJ at a radio station…..

This is pretty awesome. I met Rick Savage when I went down to Kroq in ‘09..an AWESOME dude… He posted this on my facebook a little bit ago…
Marco Collins is my radio hero…He’s a legend… I would always walk down the halls of The End and see gold records with his name all over them…
The first time I met him in person he was in with a really famous band…He said it was nice to meet me and that he was Marco..then I said, ‘Marco Collins?’ he said ‘yes’..and I totally acted like an annoying fan…totally shunning the band that was in!
