I went to the MOHAI (Seattle Museum of History and Industry). This is the POT that started the “Great Seattle Fire’ in 1889. How crazy to be looking at something like that, huh?
they ‘installed’ this about a block from my house.
It’s so bike riders can ’safely’ pull out front of the cars at a red light….
Whatever…that is fine…
I hate local bike riders ONLY when they disobey the rules
(which is NEARLY everyone EVERY TIME they get on their bike)
My biggest problem, is how much this cost….
This….green and white painted box cost $10,000..
Yes…. $10,000…….
This is my problem….with our government…. This probably cost $20 for the paint, and $40 for a couple people to go out and paint it….. But it cost $10,000……. and no one bat’s an eye at that……
But the government will raise taxes….’cos they don’t have enough money for ’stuff’..

There is a great show on the BBC called ‘Skins’.
It’s rare to see a show that actually makes you feel something……in your GUT…and this show does.
It’s ‘coming of age’ story about a group of British kids going to high school…and they’re REALLY bad…..(NOT your usual U.S. High School show) They’re always drinking and doing drugs……and sleeping with each other…and swearing……but they all have their ’story’ of why they are that way….
Each episode follows only one character and their interactions with the other characters on the show…..You see other sides to everyone this way.
There have been 4 seasons, but every 2 seasons they change the cast…so you really don’t need to know anything about the cast of seasons 1&2, if you watch seasons 3&4….
I’ve seen them all…and the cast of seasons 3&4 are by far my favorite.

Why I think Ke$ha is better than Lady Gaga.
#1) Her songs are very well written, lyrics (for what she’s going for), transitions, music, beats, ect. (whoever produced her album did a great job!)
#2) She’s a drunk ho and doesn’t try to be more than she is….unlike Lady Gaga who wants to write “anthems for her generation”…If the Anthem of my generation is ‘Lady Gags’obvious Ace Of Base rip off “Alejandro”, then I’m gonna go kill myself!

This morning there was a huge tour bus parked at the venue across the street from my apartment….So I went over to see who was gonna be at Chop Suey tonight…The 14th of September..

This is what my car looked like this morning..
I’d almost prefer that someone had broken into it….rather than this..
I drove to the gas station, and used the ‘window cleaner thing’
to scrap the crap off the windows so I could drive it to the car wash..
All I could think of while I was cleaning it,
was someone taking a picture of me, and putting the caption:
“at least you’re not having a worse day than THIS person”
*please note the windows were cleaned in the last 3 photos*
I haven’t purchased a magazine in over 5 years (I would REALLY say something like 7 or 8 years) but I am totally in love with this cover. Mad Men is one of my favorite shows..
PS-when the HELL did Rolling Stone Magazine change their size/paper choice?? That used to be a flimsy, over-sized, easy-to-tear magazine… now it’s small…..and feels like it’s made from much better paper…

I had the weirdest dream earlier. I’m sad it happened so early, cos I want to go right back to sleep, but I also don’t want to forget it!

My Memere (grandmother) died in January. She was the first person I’ve ever known really well, to pass away. I loved her so much, that I can honestly say that life seems ‘colder’ without her….
But I haven’t been doing much coping. Just putting it in the back of my mind. All my other cousins have said they ‘feel’ her around them, but I have not felt that….which makes me kind of sad, but it also would go against anything I believed in….(if I were to honestly think that she was trying to contact me from beyond the grave, rather than that just being a figment of my imagination there because I am trying to cope with it.)
Anyways.. So I had this dream last night that my brother and I were on her living room floor… she was sitting on her favorite part of her couch, looking down at us. We were talking (like we knew she was dead, and that she was a ghost). Then she got up, kissed my brother and I on the head, and started to leave. Both my brother and I started crying when she was walking out her slide-in-glass door….and I started to shout to her:
“hey??? Where do you honestly have to be?!??! huh????? Why do ghosts ALWAYS HAVE TO GO!?!??!”
I literally woke myself up laughing, cos that kept playing over and over in my head… “Why do ghosts ALWAYS HAVE TO GO????”
It’s like, is there time on the other side or something? Is she late for an appointment?!?!? She always got her hair ‘did’ once a week, was she possibly going to get that done on the other side??? ‘Cos you’d hope that your hair would be one of the things you didn’t need to worry about, when you were a ghost…..
Anyways, I just thought it was simple and funny…..and true…..’why DO ghosts always have to go?’
