And he was only speaking in Spanish… He knows that I don’t speak Spanish at all. All I kept asking was, “dad….is somebody Muerto?”
Finally he started speaking English again, and asked, “why don’t you know how to speak Spanish? I thought you took it in school?’ My response:
“I took Latin in school cos it was easy. I tried every language, German, French & Spanish, but the teacher spends an entire month teaching you how to say “hello”, then at the 1 month 1 day mark everyone is conjugating verbs and crap!!! I was always like, ‘wait, did I miss something? I obviously missed something! How do you go from saying “Hello” to conjugating verbs!?!?!”
