I sold my iBookg4 to some ho off craigslist on thursday. Now she is emailing me saying there are all these problems with it, and I know for a fact there weren’t when she got it.
The only issue that it had (which I updated the craigslist ad with) was that the hinge started to get a little loose… When she came, I explained it to her AGAIN, and she was cool with it..
She tried out the Mac, said, ‘okay, it’s good!’ I gave her all these extras and a bag for it, and she left.
She emailed me last night wondering why she couldn’t “update the operating system”.. I emailed her back, ‘well, like I said in the ad, the Mac is running 10.3.9 and you will HAVE to update it”.
–I know that this literally means the girl knows nothing about macs…. By update it means you have to get disks for it.. Anyone who knows anything about macs knows that the computer will be updated to a certain point, then you will have to ‘buy the update’…(Like Snow Leopard for all the new macbooks!)
BUT GET THIS, NOW she is saying the Mouse Pad isn’t working 90% of the time. Which I know is total BS, cos that thing never once failed, and it had a very STRONG clicking sound when it was clicked…..
This bitch has had this computer for 4 full days and JUST NOW is emailing me that the mouse doesn’t click 90% of the time?! That doesn’t seem right, does it?!
